Orlando Attractions -Getting there by Hummer Limos

December 11, 2008

While South Florida, and Miami in particular, is a popular vacation
destination, it’s not the only place with a lot to do in the Sunshine
State. Orlando is full of parks, attractions, clubs and more. There
are places for families, singles or couples to enjoy. One of the
biggest and most well known is, of course, the Disney parks.

Islands of Adventure is one of many theme parks in Orlando. It was
built and designed with the help of Steven Spielberg himself, the many
behind some of the most famous movies out there. The park is actually
broken up into five different Islands, each with it’s own theme. You
have Suess Landing, The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon and
Marvel Super Hero Island. As you can tell from the names, there is an
Island for everyone no matter what their age. The rides features are
the most advanced machines of any park and have kept customers coming
back for many years now. Visit

to learn more about the park and what it has to offer. You can also
reach them by phone at 407-363-8000.

Sea World is another option when traveling to Orlando. It’s basically
a zoo for Marine life and is home to a variety of shows and exhibits,
perfect for families or people who just love Marine life. You can
watch the Cirque de la Mer show, Pets on Stage (featuring adopted
shelter animals), feed a Dolphin or even touch a sting ray. Besides
wanting to offer people a fun day, the park is also committed to
conservation and educating people about the animals. You can find out
more by visiting

Another good tourist attraction isn’t in Orlando, but it’s only about
an hour away: Busch Gardens. Here, visitors get to see some great
wildlife as well as enjoy some exciting rides, including some water
rides. There are also simulations of the African plains and volcanoes.
There is also a butterfly conservatory, interesting shows, paddle
boats and festivals to look forward to. You can get more info on the
web by going to http://www.buschgardens.com and clicking on the Tampa
side. You can also call them toll-free for information
at1-888-800-5447.

There is much more to Orlando than theme parks, though. There is also
a wide variety of nightclubs designed to suit almost any taste and
style. For rock fans, there is Alpha Bar, located at 110 N Orange
Avenue. Their big event is the annual New Year’s Eve party. You can
find out more by calling them at (407) 841-6544. If you’re more into
dance music, you might wanna check out Icon, which is located at 1 S.
Orange Boulevard. They feature a great New Year’s Even party as well
for people who’d rather go out than watch the ball drop in Times
Square. Icon is a 2-story club with a wrap-around bar and a DJ booth
that looks like a spaceship. They are also on top of the latest trends
in the dance genre and feature a lot of local DJs. You can reach them
at 407 649-6496. For country fans, there is Cheyenne Saloon & Opera
House at 128 W. Church Street. There, you can enjoy live music, line
dancing lessons and much more. They also have a Christmas party. Check
out their website at http://www.cheyennesaloonandoperahouse.com/ to
take an online tour of the club before you go. You can also reach them
by phone at 407-839-3000.

Pleasure Island is a well-known part of Orlando’s Night Life. It also
features a bunch of restaurants and shops for tourists and residents
to enjoy. Staples such as the Harley Davidson shop, a surf and skate
shop called Curl and Fuego. Fuego is a shop for adults, featuring
cigars and other tabacco products as well as beer, wines and some
non-alcoholic drinks. After you shop, you can get a bite to eat at
Ragland Road, an Irish pub that features live music in the evenings.
As for the nightlife… most of the clubs have been closed for a
planned overhaul of Pleasure Island which will include more
restaurants and shops. You can keep up with all the latest
developments as they happen by visiting them online at

http://www.wdwinfo.com/downtown/pi/.

If you’re looking for even more fun while in Orlando, check out City
Walk. It’s sort of like Pleasure Island in that it features a variety
of restaurants and its clubs are still open. They feature everything
from Jazz music to Salsa, so you’re bound to find something you like.
They also have something called City Walk Rising Star, which is a
karaoke club. What makes it special is you are actually singing with a
live band instead of a backing track. It’s open every night from 8PM
until 2AM. CityWalk also features more relaxed places like the Red
Coconut Club. It’s one of the newer additions to the area and has an
area where there is a relaxed and mellow atmosphere away from the
dancing crowds that populate the bar area. They’re open 7 nights a
week as well, giving a lot of opportunity to go and they feature a
Ladies night on every Thursday along with live music and DJs. If
you’re looking for something else, City Walk also features a movie
theatre and special events like the Mardi Gras celebration and
Halloween Horror Nights. Orlando Florida Limousine Company

If you’re hungry from a busy day of sight seeing and just wanna relax
with a good meal, there are plenty of options. Before are just a few
of the top rated places in Orlando. One of the most popular places to
go is the Taverna Opa. It’s a Greek-style places that serves authentic
dishes and is safe for the kids as well. They can be reached at
407-351-8660. Another plus? There’s live entertainment featured every
day. If you love sushi, Amura’s is a must-see. They have won a top
rating for 4 years now. They also feature steaks and other seafood for
people who prefer something cooked. You can reach them at
407-370-0007. Another top rated place is Bergamo’s. As you probably
guessed they specialize in Italian foods. There’s one nice twist,
though. They also place show tunes, Opera and folk music. Check them
out at http://www.bergamos.com/. Might not be the best place for kids,
considering. Finally, are you a sports fan? Basketball, in particular?
If so, there’s a place called NBA City that features excellent food
and a bunch of NBA memorabilia and merchandise. They even have
basketball games to help work off some of the food. Give them a call
at 407-313-2051 to learn more about them and make reservations. Many of the hotels in the area also offer shuttle services from Orlando International Airport.
Orlando Limo Rental and Rentals There are also a variety of cab services around as well. Call at 407-892-8657 or at 407-957-8978 for Shuttle service, limo service, and Orlando Transportation.
